The Kansas City Public Library, already host to original and traveling exhibits in two elegant galleries in its downtown Central Library, 14 W. 10th St., has extended its cultural offerings to online exhibits. The first, Latinos in Kansas City: A Westside Scrapbook, draws from the extensive Guadalupe Center Collection in the Library’s Missouri Valley Special Collections and highlights the services and activities of Hispanic Americans living in the west side of Kansas City in the first half of the 20th century.

It underscores the Library’s emphasis on curating, designing, and presenting original exhibits developed from its collections. Future online exhibits will draw from other MVSC collections.
